
Currently employed as Program Manager for Lighter-Than-Air Systems at ADUAVI in Abu Dhabi with responsibility for the United Arab Emirates' Government's unmanned airship activities, Gregory has been involved in the technology and management of several different LTA ventures since 1990.
He spent eight years as the MOD officer responsible for the UK Government’s airship acquisition and research programmes during the 1990s, after which he joined CargoLifter AG in Germany where he worked with both the engineering and development teams and in the Corporate Headquarters. In his corporate role he established a strategic relationship between CargoLifter and The Boeing Company, as well as representing his Company’s interests in the LTA, aerospace and defence communities.
Following CargoLifter’s demise he supported stratospheric, logistics and tourism related LTA developments in the US, Europe and Asia through Charles Ross Associates Ltd before managing an aerostat operation for the US Marines Corp in Iraq.
Prior to his current appointment, Gregory spent nearly three years supporting ISL’s Bosch Aerospace division in the US, Trinidad and the Middle East.
Gregory is a Council Member of the Airship Association and is also a Member and Past Chair of the AIAA’s LTA Systems Technical Committee.
