The story of Genius Dead Artist began in the spring of 2000.
Neil was approached by Richard, who was eager to start recording some material he had been working on. After playing the tracks to Neil and Mick at Our Place studio, he began recording in early summer.
After the three tracks, Finding a Purpose, Wilderness and So Many Me's were finished (with Mick's vocals) the trio decided to continue to write and record together and Genius Dead Artist was born.
The album is an amalgamation of the trio's vast experience, interest and overall love of music. The band are now currently penning new material for their next album and are enjoying rehearsing for several radio appearances and low key gigs in the Midlands.
