Caldera City
Top of the League is a United based game,
with lots of nice little twists in it. These twists make it a very challenging
game to play, and a game I am really going to enjoy!
48 teams are split into four divisions of
12, with the three teams being promoted and relegated from each division. The
game has been running for quite a while, and is up to issue 279. With around 11
issues per season, that means it has been going about 25 seasons!
As I join, I take on a team called Monkey
Island, hence the monkey-ish names in the squad! I have renamed them to Caldera
City during the close season. We start at the bottom of division three, with
relegation looking very likely.
The game costs about £10 per season to play.
The game is a sister game to Puma.
