Texas Rangers
Puma is a
United based game, with lots of nice little twists in it. These twists make it
a very challenging game to play, and a game I am really going to enjoy! The
game is in its 23rd season, so is a very stable game.
48 teams
are split into three divisions of 16, with the three teams being promoted and relegated
from each division. There is also a playoff situation for a fourth place,
meaning that half of the second division could be new clubs each season!
I took on a
team called Royal Park Rangers in the early stages of season 16, but have
renamed the team to Texas Rangers since then. The team looked quite poor on
take-over.
The game
costs about £10 per season to play. The game is a sister game to Top of the
League.

What went wrong?
We had
three league games this week this week. The first game was away at Warriors FC.
Our cause was not helped by Carson being dismissed early on, but in truth it
did not make a huge difference. We were poor this time out, simple as that! At
home against Villans United we were robbed, aptly! We dominated the game,
allowing them one shot on goal and that was from the spot! It was however,
enough to steal the points from us. We then had another home game, against
Starfleet Athletic. This one was very close and was as close to a stalemate as
you can really get. It was no shock that neither team managed to break the
deadlock.
