Puma is a United based game, with lots of nice little twists in it. These twists make it a very challenging game to play, and a game I am really going to enjoy! The game is in its 20^th season, so is a very stable game.

48 teams are split into three divisions of 16, with the three teams being promoted and relegated from each division. There is also a playoff situation for a fourth place, meaning that half of the second division could be new clubs each season!

I have taken on a team called Royal Park Rangers in the early stages of season 16, but have renamed the team to Texas Rangers in the close season. The team is looking quite poor on take-over.

The game costs about £10 per season to play. The game is a sister game to Top of the League.

Mixed start!

We are normally 'concentrating on the league' by this time in the season, so it is a nice change to still be reporting on cup hopes. But more of that later! The first league game was at home to Lurgan Town. This one was a game for the die-hard fan as little was created. We scored through Hidalgo from the spot, and they replied from a direct free kick! Next up we were away at Longcroft United were a Hidalgo penalty gave us some respectability I a game we were well beaten in. Back at home, we put Parkstone Rovers to the sword with youngster Atascosa scoring three and Zavala adding another. Finally the second leg of the PUFTA Bowl tie against Saarbucken City. We won the first leg 3-1 and repeated it at home with goals from Carson and Corvell (2).

Transfer activity this week. We have signed a new Schoolboy player, Eastland, for £812,000. At that price he better be good!
