Open
Management is a United based game but with a twist. The basic rules are the
same but the GM has introduced some of the better ideas from other games to
make this game, in effect, an amalgam of decent games. One of the unique
features is that the game information is totally open. The details of all
players are known to every manager and also the line-ups of each game so tactics
can be deduced. Another feature is a linkman player who is a midfielder. He can
be defensive and add his levels to defence like a Roy Keane, or attacking and
add levels to the forwards, like Paul Scholes!
The game
starts with 16 teams in two divisions, but expansion has added a third division
of 8 to make 24 teams in the game.

offered the chance to take over Pussyfooters, the most successful side in the
game’s history! Of course, I jumped at the chance and the team has re-located
to Argentina and become Boca Seniors.
