No games portfolio would be complete without a team in this game. I am not 100% sure of the history, but most PBM games originate from a United set of rules, and were then adapted or re-written to suit the various games masters. The United game in Hopscotch is probably the most well known United game of them all. Again, not 100% sure yet, but it may even have been the original! Either way, I am honoured to be finally a part of it!

The team I have been allocated is called Boys de Boulogne, and at the time of takeover, are in Division One. However, they are doomed to relegation, so my first season in charge will be in Division three. I was going to re-name the team, but have decided to keep the name, purely for its history within this game.

We started life in the basement with a busy week. The first game was in the league, away at Rush Necromancers. A single strike after 59 minutes, from Vaporate, sealed the win for us. In the FA Shield we were at home against Hamphill Rangers. This was easy for us as they fielded a young and inexperienced team. Goals flowed in from Pierre Group (4) and Expuppy. The final game was in the Super Cup and we took control of this two-legged tie with a 3-0 win at home.

News to report on the transfer front. The close season saw some players leave and some come in. Cherokee retired along with Luc Rative, Didier Missme and Jacques Indebox. New players are Serge Onsknife, Herve Ywate, Yves Vaporate and Yves Volution.
