This game is another brand new game. However, its roots are old in that this game is played to an almost identical set of rules to REF. In fact, most if not all of the managers are from REF also. With it being brand new, we all start with a similar set up in that we have cash to buy players, stands, coaches, physios, scouts etc. Each manager will start being equal but how he or she spends their cash will determine how they play the game. At the time of writing, no details of costs are available, but I assume that about £10 per season will be about right.

The game starts with three conferences of 8 teams. These will play and the best teams from each conference will form the new division one. 24 teams start the game, but I am not sure if 24 or more, or less, will start the first season proper. If all start, we will have 3 divisions of 8 teams.

Some hope!

This week we had two games to play. First up we were at home in the FA Cup to Elfin Glen. Glen never really tried to win the game, opting to kick us into submission and hoping for a draw. For once this season, we were too strong for that! Goals from Corkscrew (2), Bonzo and O'Connor provided an easy passage to round three! Then came another Cup game, this time the League Cup and we were away at Leigh RMI. We were never in the game and the second leg task looks beyond us. The final game was away at Lumley in the league. Two fatigued sides fought it out and a first minute goal settled the game in favour of the home side.
