Cyber Knights

This game is another brand new game. However, its roots are old in that this game is played to an almost identical set of rules to REF. In fact, most if not all of the managers are from REF also. With it being brand new, we all start with a similar set up in that we have cash to buy players, stands, coaches, physios, scouts etc. Each manager will start being equal but how he or she spends their cash will determine how they play the game. At the time of writing, no details of costs are available, but I assume that about £10 per season will be about right.

The game starts with three conferences of 8 teams. These will play and the best teams from each conference will form the new division one. 24 teams start the game, but I am not sure if 24 or more, or less, will start the first season proper. If all start, we will have 3 divisions of 8 teams.

Mixed!

This week we had two games to face. The first was in the league, away at Big Dog. I felt we had to play hard ball to have any chance and they clearly felt the same way. It was a bruising encounter in which we lost Hotpants to injury. They too lost a player but ours was the more costly as it allowed them to secure the game by a single goal. The second game was at home against Dog Ends. Without the crippled Hotpants we were toothless up front. Had he played we might have broken through the massed defence. Without him the result was a foregone conclusion.

Transfer news to report this week. No players, but we finally managed to secure the services of a physio!
