Footplate Experience Courses, on our 1914 built Peckett
steam
Loco. (Pictured below)Temporarily suspendid until Spring
2002, where the replacement loco "Rosyth" hopefully will be available.
Offering the chance of a lifetime to fire and drive a steam locomotive.
Our one day courses are extremely popular, and are designed to take you through all the tasks of footplate duties.
We
guarantee a day to remember, and what's more you receive
a Certificate
to prove you did it.
An ideal way
to celebrate an Anniversary, Birthday, or as a present.
Courses run from 10am to 3pm
They
cost £100 per person, or £75pp for 2.
Two persons per course, (extra persons can be arranged by request)
You will also receive a Quality Certificate at the end of the course.
HOW TO FIND US
Follow
M4 East/West to junction 44 up slip road and follow signs for
A48 Llansamlet and Morriston, to second lights and turn left,
our
steam sign is on the corner. Pass Tescos on your left, continue
to roundabout, at the next steam sign turn right. We
are the next entrance on the right after Richleys.
Alternatively catch the 36a bus from the Quadrant and
ask for the SVR.
