Dear
Mike. Thanks for your letter welcoming me to the Association.

| her for about seven years, and it’s a tribute to him that part of our decision to buy was his charm and clear affection for the vehicle, which he had known for, I believe, about 30 years, it being previously owned by a friend of his, who, as I understand it was the person who had restored the car. but
I intend to have some further work carried out on the bonnet and wheels before
winter arrives. As this is my first venture into cars of this age, I am still
learning a new driving technique, and whilst the upward gear changes are going

| Dear Kevin. Many thanks for your letter and photos of your Junior, which is actually a 1932 model,as evidenced by the lack of a peak above the windscreen, shape of top of radiator | ||||||||||||||||
cowl, chrome hub caps (on 18” wheels) and no battery on the left running board.
With regard to driving technique and down-shifts, you should find
that the engine pulls well at fairly low revs, so I would suggest you try changing
down at lower speeds - any gear grating will then be kinder to the gears and much
less embarrassing! | ![]() | |||||||||||||||
