This was Barry Paine's 1952 Singer SM1500 but it is currently in the Museum of British Road Transport, Coventry, where it has been beautifully repainted in the original blue. This model went into production in 1949, being Singer's first all new post war car. The specification includes: 1497cc ohc engine, independent front suspension, seating for six within the wheelbase, and column mounted four speed gearchange.
