About Myself
I am a self-taught developing artist and have been interested in art, music, history, science and technology since my school days. My earliest paintings were murals and seascapes in water colour, and in recent years I have worked on different digital and photographic work. My travels and many interests in life often lead to artistic inspiration and new artistic endeavours, which in turn enable me to relax.
I regard myself as a cheerful painter and not only enjoy creativity for myself, but hope other people feel good by my paintings too.
Career wise, I progressed from production engineering through business administration to becoming an I.T. consultant. But I longed for much creativity in my working life, so I took up both photography and digital art. And in recent years I returned to physical painting, now using the acrylic and encaustic wax mediums.
Since I took up painting again, my enthusiasm has grown and grown, and now every opportunity is used to work on something new.
About My Art
I currently paint with acrylic paints, acrylic inks and encaustic wax mediums, and it is my intention to add sculpture to my portfolio in the coming year. My images are created where possible, with bright cheerful colours and contrasts, reflecting my outlook on life.
In recent times, I have produced paintings with an abstract theme of life including topics of physics, civilisation, language and culture. Now I am expanding out to different subjects e.g. landscapes, seascapes, wildlife, still life and industrial.
Gallerists, Curators: I am looking for my art to be represented by your art galleries and developing art exhibitions.
Commissions are Welcome. These paintings could be ideal for different interiors, for example in the home, office, hotel, restaurant, college, university, hospital, airport or railway station.
