Welcome to the Website for the Parish Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Swanley in Kent.

St. Mary's Church is a part of the Church of England, in the Diocese of Rochester.  The parish has taken resolution A, B and C and is therefore under the alternative Episcopal care of the Bishop of Fulham. 

The Church is open daily from dawn

to dusk for anyone who wishes to made use of it for private prayer, to light a candle or just sit and reflect.

 

Breaking News

Fr. Michael Brundle - Vicar of St. Mary's since 1995 will be leaving on Sunday 16th April 2006 to take up the post of Vicar of St. Edward the Confessor, Burgess Hill in the Diocese of Chichester.  He will be Instituted as Vicar of St. Edward's on Thursday 11th May 2006.

ALSO

Fr. James McCluskey - Curate of St. Mary's will be leaving Swanley on 26th June 2006 to take up the post of Vicar of St. Luke's Prittlewell in the Diocese of Chelmsford.  Fr. James will be Instituted as Vicar of St. Luke's on 26th July 2006.
