Dear Farnham Mason,
I have requested W. Bro. Mike Barnes (Jnr), the
Centre Webmaster, place the following document on the Website. It is a near
copy of the document that I circulated to all Lodge Directors 3 weeks ago. This
document gives the reasoning behind my forthcoming proposal to the Board of the
Farnham Masonic Hall Co. Ltd to move away from a system whereby we serve
draught beer at the Centre to one where we serve only canned, and in some
cases, bottled beer. I have had this placed on the website so that you are
fully aware of the deliberations of your Board and representatives and to allow
you to give your views to your representative before the next Board Meeting on
Saturday May 8th.
You will note that the
new stairlift is in situ and, after a few modifications by our Hall Manager, W.
Bro. Mike Barnes (Snr) is now fully operational. Having travelled on the
stairlift myself I think it important that we are all patient should a disabled
Bro. be using the stairlift and for those using the stairlift, to be careful as
it turns you around corners, and to keep your knees in a slightly diagonal
position away from the body because we do not have a lot of room on the stairs.
