This site has been produced using "Second Site" which takes information contained within the genealogy program "The Master Genealogist" and converts it to the format you see here and on the following pages. I purchased the "Second Site" program sometime ago now but am still learning - combined with the flexibility of "TMG" it is very good at producing a complex site with the minimum effort. Even though I have seen "Second Site" through a number of versions, all adding extra features and improvements on previous versions I am still very much a novice at using all the features it has. I do hope that you will find some of the information here useful. I have been working on my family history project and assisting others on and off since 1975 and still find the subject interesting. Most of all I guess i'm as careful as I can be about being able to show where I obtained my information (sources) so that others may be able to check it out for themselves. I have found that researching genealogy cannot always be done only using the internet, although there is now a wealth of data/sites available now. Sometimes it is easy to forget the golden rule - start with what you know and always work backwards from there - so tempting to try and assume too much without the necessary weight of proof. If you find any inaccuracies here (apart from my spelling) please contact me so that I can correct any mistakes which would mislead others if left unaltered.
