Foundation
& Key Stage 1
We recognise that the
education of your children is a venture shared between you, the
parents, and us, the staff of the school.
The staff, parents and pupils at Meadow
Farm Community Primary School have
worked together to create this
home-school agreement.
We hope this will
result in
excellent home-school
communication, enabling parents and teachers to work together.
The
School
We
will…
- Care
for your child's welfare and happiness and develop their self-esteem.

Work
hard to help your child achieve their best.
-
Treat
your child as an individual with their own skills and personal needs.
-
Provide
a stimulating, broad and balanced curriculum.
-
Contact
the parents/carer if there is a problem
with attendance, punctuality, dress or equipment.
-
Inform
the parents/carer about any concerns or problems that affect your
child's work or behaviour.
-
Keep
parents/carers informed about school activities through regular
newsletters and notices
about special events.
-
To
hold regular consultation evenings to discuss
each child’s progress.
-
Welcome
parents/carers into school.

To
arrange a mutually convenient appointment should families wish to
discuss their child.

that my child goes to school regularly, on time, in school uniform and
properly equipped.

Let
the school know about any concerns or problems that might affect my
child's work or behaviour and reasons for absence.

To
encourage my child to be caring, polite and helpful to other children
and grown-ups.

To
talk to my child about what they have been doing at school and support
them in all aspects of home learning and extra-curricular activities.

Support
the school in maintaining good behaviour and discipline (see school
brochure).

To
remind my child that they are representing the school whilst wearing
their school uniform.

Attend
parent evenings and discussions about my child's progress.

Agree
to keep the school’s expectations of courtesy and safety by not
swearing or smoking on school premises.
