Welcome to the official website of MJ Music. I am a professional musician and private teacher based in Peterborough, teaching Saxophone, Piano, Keyboard, Clarinet and Music Theory.

If you live in the area, you may have seen me playing with my jazz band Take 6 or everybody's favorite 60's tribute The Nuggets. I also play with a variety of other bands covering jazz, blues, funk, soul, and rock.

I provide professional music tuition from my home in Longthorpe. Students can study for qualifications from all the major exam boards (Associated Board, Trinity Guildhall, Rockschool), learn to improvise, improve sight-reading and aural skills or learn more about music technology (Score-writing, sequencing, recording etc.)
