In March 2007 I bought a Porta-bote for Pike fishing and registered it under the name “HECHTJÄGER” (Pike Hunter).
Two years down the line and I can honestly say that I do not regret the purchase and it has certainly made my fishing more interesting and varied. If you want a safe boat for small to medium size waters but have nowhere to store a trailered boat then a Portabote could be just what you’re looking for.
This web site was initially just a collection of photos to show how I had adapted the boat for Pike fishing but it has since expanded to include boating & tackle solutions, tackle reviews and basically anything that I feel other anglers may benefit from!
