a Pike angling web site
In March 2007 I bought a Portabote for Pike fishing and registered it under the name “HECHTJÄGER” (Pike Hunter).
Two years down the line and I can honestly say that I do not regret the purchase and it has certainly made my fishing more interesting and varied. If you want a safe boat for small to medium size waters but have nowhere to store a trailered boat then a Portabote could be just what you’re looking for.
This web site was initially just a collection of photos to show how I had adapted the boat for Pike fishing but it has since expanded to include boating & tackle solutions, tackle reviews and basically anything that I feel other anglers might find interesting!
I have recently started fly fishing for Pike and joined the PFFA. So you will now find information not only on the PAC / LAS, lure and bait fishing, but now fly fishing methods also.

Due to new work commitments my time is rather limited so I don’t really have the time to demonstrate the boat as some have asked. However I’m always happy to reply to emails should your questions not be answered elsewhere in this web site.
