Today I have mainly been failing to organise people for a church lunch. After church tomorrow mornings there's a welcome lunch for people who've recently joined St Paul's. I was meant to be arranging a few volunteers to help out. However, the details emailed to me a few weeks ago didn't seem to make it into my in box for some reason. so I'd failed to do anything about it. That was until I got a phone all from the clergy asking me if everything was arranged! Half an hour of frantic phone calls later, I managed to get a couple of people to agree to help. As we really need four people, I felt obliged to volunteer my self. Val then some what tersely pointed out that we were meant to be going thee to the leisure centre at midday. Oh dear, it makes me wonder how I manage to cope a work. |
