Val, I and Jon ("The other Mr Helliwell") Jennings went on a brewery tour of the triple F brewery down near Alton. Well it was billed as a brewery tour by the local Camra lot anyway. When we got there there was no sign of any touring going on; instead they handed out pint glasses and pointed us in the direction of the barrels! It was as much as you can drink until it was time to catch the steam train back into Alton to visit the tap house. We rolled home around 7pm, promised William to make him dinner and the woke up around 8a, this morning. |
