Prostate Cancer Awareness.

Homepage: -

Welcome to Graham Newman's web site for those with blindness or sight loss, or those with reading or other difficulties. Welcome also, to those with equipment designed to view text only web sites.

I hope that I have made the content compatible with assistive software of varying types and hand held devices, by omitting any kind of formatting or frames, minimising colours, and using a simple black text on pale background approach, that can be amended by the user to their own requirements. Well, that's the plan anyway. I have included some images for those who can see them, but I have added Alt and Long-description tags with narrative of the images for those who can't.

The main purpose of this site is to write an up to date diary about the symptoms, diagnosis, treatment and side effects of Prostate Cancer, for the benefit of those who seek information on this subject, or to raise awareness of the disease, among those without any knowledge of this growing problem who just stumble across the site. In addition, I've added jokes, funny stories, unusual facts and a series of links to other cancer related help sites. These can be found at the end of the diary.

I've written my diary in as humorous a way as I can, in order to make it more palatable, particularly to those of you who have to listen to it as opposed to being able to read it.

This site runs in parallel with my main web site, which was created for sighted people using standard computers and able to view varying texts and images. This can be viewed at www.prostatecancerawareness.co.uk . but is not compatible with assistive software, sorry.

Now the description and legal niceties are out of the way, it's time to read the introduction and diary, so here we go: -
