Mark Alan Swift's Diary
19th May 2001
My mates Daz and Paul came round for some booze tonight, we got rather drunk and then Darren decided to view some rather unsavory sites using my computer. If the FBI contact me regarding this issue I shall use this entry as evidence that it wasn't me. Horses are not supposed to do that, it's filth.
Watched the Wingspan documentary on Paul McCartney and Wings, not much good really. It was all about Linda is mad wife, God rest her soul.
21st May 2001
Sky Digital people took away my tele. We now only have a few crappy channels such as Pakistan TV and lots of Asian Stations, there is never anything on anymore. I cant wait until we have a few more quid to spare because then we can get the full package again.
22nd May 2001
Tried in vain to get Ayesha to contribute to the website. She does not mind me putting pictures of her on the website, but has she has no interest in HTML whatsoever she refuses to add her views. She will not even let me put a Diary Page up for her.
Lost 2Ib at Weight Watchers, I could have lost more if I hadn't have drank two bottles of wine and a bottle of Vodka on Saturday with Paul and Darren. Did I mention I lost 7Ib last week.
26th May 2001
Went to Nottingham to get five of my Discworld books signed by the God of Fantasy Fiction, Terry Pratchett. He said these words to me "Who are these for?", "Is that Swifty with a Y on the end?" and "There you go!". Amazing.
My nephew Brett came to stay with us tonight and I was forced to watch Pokemon the movie: Mew Vs. Mew Two. Very interesting indeed.
7th June 2001
Loughborough Echo reports that a man sun bathing in Hathern got covered in human urine and shit. The offending poo/piss fell from the sky.
8th June 2001
The Loughborough Echo printed a guide to shepshed speak. Very amusing indeed.
9th June 2001
Went to London to see Ayesha's sister Sahira. We ate lunch at Wagamamas, a new-style noodle bar, modelled on the ramen shops that have been popular in Japan for over two hundred years. We then went to Haagen-Dazs for Ice Cream, counteracting the effect of the good Wagamama food. Both heath food and ice cream were very nice.
We the went to the Prince of Wales Theatre to watch the musical adaptation of The Witches of Eastwick. This was the first time I have ever seen a musical, it was surprisingly enjoyable.
15th June 2001
Got legless with Paul and Daz and ended up being a little bit poorly.
16th June 2001
Went to Milton Keynes to see Bon Jovi. Went without drink for twelve hours due to me getting my water confiscated because I could have used the plastic bottle as a misile??? They still sold them inside the grounds but I had spent my money on a program.
17th June 2001
Tae Kwon Do grading. Went without a hitch, I will
find out on wednesday if I have passed or not. Will get my yellow tag with
any luck. Here is my licence picture for no reason whatsoever
How awful!!!!!
20th June 2001
