Children Love Creativity

While being a primary school teacher for 7 years it never ceased to amaze me how creative and imaginative the children could be. They always loved doing the practical craft sessions and were always disappointed when they ended. Now I run my own business I can run classes and parties for the children's enjoyment and help develop their crafting skills. To this end I am offering a range of themed parties for children to create their own scrapbook pages, cards and 'creative masterpieces'..

The Details

Parties will be held in our workshop above the shop and will last for approximately two hours. The cost per person will vary depending on the activities and the cost of the raw materials. See below for approximate costs.

A minimum of 5 children to a maximum of 15 (depending on age) can be catered for. Extra children can be accommodated but this will mean an extra cost as an additional adult will need to be employed.

All children must be of school age (over 4 years - Reception upwards).

Parents/adults may stay but space is limited so we can only accommodate a few.

Parties can be tailored to the child's interests but at least 3 weeks notice will be needed for this.

The Cost

A deposit of £30 is payable when booking with the remainder payable on the day of the party. Unfortunately the deposit is none refundable as it is used to cover the cost of materials ordered for the party.

Approximate cost will be £9.50 per child. There may be some variability in this price, up or down, dependant on materials and any particular requests.

Party Theme Ideas

This is a list of some of my thoughts and I am happy to discuss any particular requirements and suggestions to tailor the parties.

Scrapbook party - children will make scrapbook pages using photographs taken at the party. The birthday child will receive a free album for this and future pages.

Fairy - Lots of sparkly bits, stars, glitter and glue.

Prince/ Princess - more sparkly things, crowns, castles glitter and glue.

Space - cards and crafts with an outer space theme.

Under the Sea - mermaids, seahorses ands other sea creatures.

Be assured of your child's safety as I am a former primary school teacher and as such have undergone all vetting procedures to work with children.
