Getting to Pacentro

By public transport

From Rome Fiumicino (many airlines)

Either:

Take the train from Fiumicino Aeroporto to Rome termini Station change to Stazione F.S. Tiburtina ( blue line on the metro map) and take a bus to Sulmona. There are seven buses per day shown on the timetable with journey time of 2 hrs bus timetable. Bus to Pacentro, eleven buses per day shown on the timetable, journey time around 15 mins.

From Rome Ciampino (EasyJet and Ryanair)

Either

Airport bus to Rome Termini station Train from Rome Terminito Sulmona (train timetable). Bus to Pacentro, eleven buses per day shown on the timetable, journey time around 15 mins.

By Car

From Rome airports

Drive round the Rome ring road and then out on the A24 autostrada due East to the Pratola Peligns exit and then another 18 km or so to Pacentro. Total time around 1.5 hrs.

From Pescara airport (Ryanair)

Drive on the A24 autostrada to Rome from Pescara, due West to the Pratola Peligns exit and then another 18 km or so to Pacentro. Total time around 35 mins.
