2.  Opening the template and editing it

Sorry to Mac users, but you'll have to translate all this into Macintosh compatible operations.

You now need to locate the file you saved, and open it. In the previous screen I demonstrated saving the template as nice doggy ebay template.txt to your My Documents folder.

Open My Documents from your Start menu, locate  nice doggy ebay template , and double-click it.

Double-click the icon for the template you saved earlier

Because your computer sees this has a file type of Text document it will start the program associated with Text document file types and load the program with the template. The program is Notepad. Notepad is a text editor. You will see your template for the first time.
