To date this is all I have on the Cosgrove Family History. Mary Alice Cosgrove is my Gt Grandmother.

FIRST GENERATION

1. Mary Alice COSGROVE was born in 1858 in County Down Ireland. She appeared on the census in 1891 in 3 York St Greenock Scotland. She married Thomas Mitchell Bethune or Beaton in 1881 - Calton Glasgow. Her second marriage was to Robert Menzies in Sept 1899 Greenock. (This Robert Menzies, as the family story goes is connected to Sir Robert Gordon Menzies one time Prime Minster of Australia, which I am still trying to prove). She died on 4 May 1926 in Greenock Renfrewshire Scotland. She was buried on 6 May 1926 in lair 689 Section 3/E Greenock Cemetery. She was also known as Mary Alice Crossgrove.

SECOND GENERATION

2. James COSGROVE. He was married to Ann MCGUIRE on 5 Jan 1857 in County Down Ireland.

3. Ann MCGUIRE.
