... back my friends (what ELP reference?) to the new Battle of Waterloo Wargame Project website. This is a project I started in 2004. Having been interested in Modelling and Wargaming for over 30 years I decided that I would try and build replica armies of the forces that were involved in the Battle of Waterloo, June 18th 1815.

I have tried to make the figures as accurate as possible, or as much as the figures would allow me, but not to paint to a too detailed standard, as this would take too long. I have had to make 'Artistic License' decisions occassionally, again this has been done to facilitate a faster painting stage. I'm not sure how long painting all these figures will take, but it will be a long-term project! The figures painted so far can be accessed by the links on the Navigation Bar under the different army headings. I will be posting on the 'What's New' page as and when new units are finished and uploaded to the site.

I hope this site is helpful to anybody with an interest in wargaming, modelling or just the Napoleonic era in general. Many thanks for visiting this site, and to my Wife Nicki who has to share her home with thousands of Napoleonic soldiers and thinks I'm a complete Nut!
