About Us

We are a group of local residents who are interested in local wildlife. We look after Withdean Woods Local Nature Reserve (LNR) with the help of Brighton & Hove Council's Countryside Service.

Together we aim to:

• Encourage the local school to use the woods for education
• Provide information for the local community
• Encourage community involvement
• Improve access for the less able
• Survey flora and fauna
• Leave lying dead wood
• Identify and develop appropriate circular footpath routes
