Travel Information for the Railfuture  East Anglia Branch Area

This page is under development.

It is intended that this page will contain a link to each of the major towns and cities in the branch area with links to the web-sites of the local bus, taxi, train operators etc.

National Express has a web-site dedicated to travel within East Anglia. See http://www.eastangliarailways.co.uk.

Independent advice about booking rail tickets can be found at http://www.raileasy.co.uk. This web-site, which sells most tickets, is run by Ferries Trains Planes Limited, which is not related to any rail company.

Visit http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/travel/cheap-train-tickets
to learn ways of reducing the cost of train travel, particularly longer journeys.

Also visit http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/deals/cheap-coach-train-ticket-deals
to find out about speciial, often short-term, rail fare offers.

TAXI - How do I find out the details of a taxi company at my destination station?

At smaller stations where there is not a taxi rank, or even at larger stations where there is but no taxis are waiting, there will hopefully be a notice board at the station with telephone numbers of local taxi companies.

If you have access to the internet why not find out the taxi company detials before you travel. Simply go to http://www.traintaxi.co.uk and enter your destination station.
