NEWS...The FA Futsal Conference kicks off...
This new FA organised national league kicked off on 6 March 2008. Local team FC Barsa is West Yorkshire's only representatives at this new premier level. The league is organised in 3 divisions, North, Midlands and South.
Because of the lack of suitable facilities in Leeds all FC Barsa's home games will take place in Sheffield. FC Barsa were awarded the West Yorkshire franchise as they form part of the futsal-leeds pyramid and form part of the plan to promote futsal within West Yorkshire. However, unlike their league rivals, they have the disadvantage of not being able to derive any financial support from either their local County FA or University. But they will continue to find and coach new players and be the only wholely British team within the league. Watch this space for details.

Winter/Spring 2008 - working with clubs to introduce futsal into their football training routines working towards futsal competitions in the football off season.
