1891 census of Poplar, Middlesex - aged 5
months, born Limehouse London

Source: Approximate year of birth only, calculated from:
1891 census of Plaistow, Essex - aged 31,
born Oxfordshire Addesbury [sic]
1901 census of Haggerston, Middlesex -
aged 40, born Oxon Adderbury
In the 1871 census, "Rosa A FLINT, 12, born Adderbury" was found at East
Adderbury, Oxfordshire, living with parents Henry & Eliza FLINT. In 1861,
"Rossanna FLINT, 2, born Adderbury" was again at East Adderbury, living with
her mother Eliza, and grandmother Sarah FLINT (father Henry was visiting FLINT
relatives in Norfolk). In the online GRO birth index at FreeBMD, she is
probably... "1858 Jun, Roseanna FLINT, Banbury, 3a 586".
No sign of Rose(anna) FLINT in the 1881 census, but bearing in mind that she
appears to have married a WILSON prior to her 1882 marriage to Edward Tomlinson
WITT, she was possibly, "Rose Annie WILSON, Serv, Widow, 21, Cook Domestic
Servant, Oxon Adderbury", a servant to Mary BELL & family in Paddington,
London. As to the whereabouts of her son William Joseph, born c.1879, he
appears to have been still at East Adderbury, living with grandparents Henry &
Eliza FLINT, and recorded as, "William J WILLSON, Grandson, 2, Oxon Adderbury".
[9149]
Source: In the online GRO marriage index at FreeBMD, must be... "1882
Dec, Edward Tomlinson WITT & Rosannah WILSON, Romford, 4a 308".
It would appear that Rose(anna) had been previously married to a WILSON,
although no marriage has been found at FreeBMD.
