Therefore, Elizabeth is presumed to have been aged 6, and born at 'Newington, Middlesex'. Newington, Middlesex, creates a problem in itself. As far as I know, there is no such place. It was most likely Stoke Newington, Middlesex, but could possibly be Newington, Surrey.
