possibly had three more children :-
(1) Elizabeth HAGGER, d.o. Thomas & Elizabeth, baptised 29 Jul 1759 (nine
months after Thomas HAGGER's marriage to Sarah PEPPERCORN)
(2) William HAGGER, s.o. Thomas & Mary, baptised 16 Jan 1770 (the IGI has two
entries, one with mother as Mary, and one with mother as Sarah)
(3) Sarah HAGGER, d.o. Thomas, widower, buried 2 Oct 1783 (twenty months after
the death of Sarah PEPPERCORN)
The Therfield Militia Lists for 1772 & 1773 record that Thomas HAGGER had 4
children. The Therfield baptism register only records two, which indicates that
some or all of the above were Thomas & Sarah's children.

Although William used the surname RIDGWELL (or a variant spelling of), it is
most unlikely that he was the son of Charles RIDGWELL, especially as he was
born 4-5 years before his mother married Charles RIDGWELL. On William's
marriage certificate, his father is recorded as "Mother - Harriet Rebecca
RIDGEWELL", which (very strange entry!) almost certainly indicates that Charles
RIDGWELL was NOT his father.
