Limehouse to Charles John TURNER (presumably his father) from 10th February
1885 to 8th July 1890 [information supplied by Rob Cottrell, from his 'Watermen

he was mysteriously recorded as a Galvaniser. 'Lighterman' was
originally entered on the certificate, but has been crossed out.

1889 Lighterman, Journeyman (birth of son Edward Charles)
1897 Lightermans assistant (birth of son Charles John)

1942 Formerly a Wood dealer (death certificate)
1948 Timber Merchant (wife Emily's death certificate)
