Source: Approximate year of birth only, calculated from:
1871 census of Bethnal Green, Middlesex -
aged 9 months, born London [Although named as Rebecca at the census, her
parents seem to have had a previous daughter Rebecca c.1863, who was visiting
her grandmother Emma PRACY in 1871. There is possibly a rational explanation
for this odd state of affairs, but it is not apparent at present!]

Notes: The Kelshall Militia Lists 1758-1786 (published by the
Hertfordshire Family History Society - see Links page) include Richard
REYNOLDS, blacksmith, from 1769 to 1786. Richard's first child (Sarah) had been
born at Bassingbourn in 1768, so the Militia Lists pinpoint when he made the
move from Bassingbourn to Kelshall. He is assumed to have later moved to
Therfield, because he was buried there in 1792.
Occupation
1769-86 Blacksmith (Militia Lists)
1792 Blacksmith (burial)
