| Some of the original columns are omitted from the transcripts, for the sake of simplicity (a full list of the data collected at each census can be found at Gendocs). Most of the omitted columns only contain data collected for statistical purposes. Where such information is relevant, it is included in that person's 'Notes' (on the tree). Also omitted is the 'place' or 'address' column. This information is instead part of the heading line, which also includes the full PRO (Public Record Office) reference. |
