The
MAKE POVERTY HISTORY campaign hit the media big time
throughout
2005, mobilising thousands of people who had never campaigned before.
The campaigning goes on…

page for some suggestions

Bad debt & Vulture funds

site for action.

Israeli Apartheid Wall
Israel’s
wall building programme has been declared illegal by International Courts but
still they continue to destroy Palestinian lives and livelihoods.
See
the War on
Want website

information and actions

Reforming
the World Bank and IMF
The
IMF and World Bank continue to attach harmful and poverty-causing strings to
their loans to developing countries.
Christian Aid organised a rally in London
to persuade Government ministers to withhold the UK contribution to these
organisations until they reform.
See
the photographs of our trip to London.

about the World Bank and IMF here.
THIS is why
they need reforming.

MAKE
POVERTY HISTORY is NOT over yet.
Although the G8 have made some great commitments, they didn’t do all
they could and we need to make sure they keep their promises.
