The Boulton Paul Association

The Boulton Paul Association (BPA) was formed in 1991 with the simple aim of preserving the long history of Boulton Paul Aircraft in all its forms. With a membership which includes former employees, Defiant aircrew and people who merely have an interest in West Midlands aviation and BP in particular, a number of projects have been initiated.

A museum and workshop has been established by courtesy of G E Aviation. Under the name Boulton Paul Aircraft Heritage Project, the association has created an exhibition of the company's history with photographs and exhibits.

The Association has also set up the Staffordshire Aviation Archive, based on BP's own substantial archives, and seeking to record the history of Staffordshire aviation in general and BP in particular, and is always seeking new material.
