I personally use  Astraweb for my news provider, it's cheap, got great retention, secure and fast :)
Click on the link above for the website, also if your still not sure, you can also buy a block of
download 25 Gig for $10 (£7) this is'nt time restricted you can keep it for years if you want, which is
a great way to dip your feet into the Usenet!! Look in      MORE INFO       for more information on
other choices for providers and news clients etc.

So if you have signed up, you should have received a Username and Password, also instructions to
access your news server, eg. 'ssl-eu.astraweb.com' port 563. As you can see by the address and
port no. it is the Astraweb news server and it's secure SSL on port 563 (nice and safe).

All we have to do now is choose a news client and put our details in, grab a few utilities and it's
download time!!!

STEP 1

Getting access to a news server, ok you can see if your isp has one, but to be honest there gonna be rubbish, they will be heavily filtered and you'll be lucky to find a whole download on them (ok Virgin's one is'nt to bad!! if your on Virgin check it out HERE) but for the rest of you it's find a decent cheap unlimited plan you can afford!! Ok i know what your thinking!! 'pay for? the torrents are free to use!!' Yeah and that's why the kids use it oh and you dont want a letter through the door saying you owe some software company £30,000 in damages!! so for a small monthly fee, say $11-15 (£7-10) a month you have full access to the Usenet which uses SSL encyption to protect yourself from prying eyes!!!

Here's a deal on Astraweb while it lasts

$11 a month instead of $15 !!

Special $11 Dollar Deal

I hope this website has helped, if it has please give me a hand ->
