My husband and I came to find out about Mark Walpole through mutual friends. One had a 60th bash and Mark videoed that and the other a wedding. Both of these people were friends of friends so good news travels fast.

Having had the recommendation by word of mouth we were absolutely thrilled with Mark's initial professionalism. We spent some time chatting over the phone with him and knew from that moment he was exactly perfect for what we wanted for our once in a lifetime special day! When I first spoke to Mark on the telephone before even meeting him I was very impressed. After meeting Mark I didn't even bother to get any other quotes, I knew he was right for the job. Mark attended my wedding from 10:00 in the morning getting shots of the church, reception and gardens before guests had even started to arrive. I didn't actually get married till 12:00. He stayed till 2200hrs at no extra charge, which must have been a very long day for him.

We bought Mark a thank you gift while we were on Honeymoon before we even seen the DVD as we knew he had done a great job. Mark recently did our wedding video at Crathorne Hall and we were both very pleased with his work. Mark worked the whole day at the venue, videoing the hotel and grounds before we arrived and finishing off with the video messaging at the end. Many of our guests commented on how helpful and friendly Mark was whilst working and we would add that his manner was a big positive getting along with guests and the photographer.

The dvd was excellent and its presentation was also very good. Overall value was excellent and we would have no hesitation in recommending Mark to anyone.

Having Mark to record our wedding was the best decision we made. It was a last minute decision and we are so pleased we did.

The DVD was brilliant. We really enjoyed watching it. It was worth every penny and very good quality.
There was so much going on that we would not have known about and the video messages were so good....they made us laugh as well as cry.
It was all the more poignant because the last video message was from our friends who emigrate next week.
The DVD’s are now doing the rounds and being sent all over the country to relatives.
I would recommend your services to everyone. The day itself goes by so quickly and you don’t remember a lot of it. I’m so pleased we had the day filmed as we were in two minds but I would have regretted not having it done. Along with the photos its a permanent record of the day but it captures all the little things that the photos cant.(like our daughter Abbi reading her poem during the ceremony, not a dry eye in the house!).
To future brides and grooms: if you think you can’t afford it, cut back on something else or regret it!

After speaking to family members about their own weddings they all suggested getting someone to video the day so that we could enjoy it all over again. Asking Mark to video our wedding was the best decision we ever made. He exceeded our expectations tenfold with a DVD that captured every aspect of the day. There was scene selections, title menus a presentation box and he'd even taken the time to find the music from my walk up the aisle and our first dance to include this on the DVD. By the time we got back from our honeymoon the DVD was ready. In fact we saw our video before we got our photographs back! I can't tell you how many times I've watched the video but every time I do I see something else that I missed first time around. The whole day was captured so I got to see things I wouldn’t have normally seen, such as my husband waiting at the altar, the guests talking and mingling whilst waiting for me to arrive and the best men have the joy of reliving their speeches all over again!!!! You don’t realize how much you miss on the day and how quick it goes by but this DVD helped fill in all the gaps. And I can honestly say that I never even noticed Mark was there so the whole thing was very natural. Having got married in New York in September 2005, we hired Mark to record our reception event for friends and family in October 2005. Mark was approachable, friendly and the final product was of outstanding quality. I was over the moon with the DVD of Leah's 3rd birthday party. Mark captured all the little ones (and big ones) having fun and was so friendly and relaxed with the children none of them were camera shy! We have watched it again and again, the kids love the slide show with the music the best - it's a lovely keepsake to have, we can watch it for years to come and see how much they've grown and changed. I was very impressed with the DVD menu and the presentation box with the picture of Leah on it, almost as impressed as Leah - she thinks she's a film star!! When I got through to the Final of a local Karaoke Competition I invited all of my friends and family. The whole evening went so quickly it was just a blur, but Mark captured everything, including my Mum's reaction when I won! The way he edited the footage makes it so easy and fun to watch over and over again. I have had all the people who couldn't make it on the night round to watch the best bits - and the funny bits! It's absolutely priceless. They all loved it so much I have booked him to video the Regional Final in Newcastle!
