Yes it's boring to most but some of this needs to be said. The first section is a series of notes about copyright which apply throughout these pages, some pages will repeat some of this if required. Once that's out of the way i have included a few notes about the general design of these pages and what they contain for those that are interested.
No material here is intended as a challenge to any copyrights, for example those of the manufactures of the games systems with which material to be found in the fiction section is intended to be used. If anyone has any complaints about use of any material please let me know i cannot respond if i don't know. NTL have their own rules about web pages which you may read about on their own pages, these pages are my work and have nothing to do with my internet provider.
With respect to Shadowrun by FASA Corporation and latterly FanPro, but i have used no FanPro material as of this time:
Similar sentiments are intended with regard to any other material i use here. Unlike most pages i have repeated the webmaster mailto link here just in case.
Pages are updated using Evrsoft's(R) 1st Page 2000 version 2.0. This also has the advantage of being both free! and a reasonable size programme to install. I keep it set in hardcore mode so i get full control. Its easy to use, if you know a little html.
Hopefully you will find the navigation bars at the tops and bottoms of the pages useful. The main bars navigate within a set of pages on the same subject on on the same level. some pages will have two sets with a bigger break between in which case the left hand set are for the higher hierachy of pages.
If you want to know where i got an image from there are comments in the page sources, which i hope to keep up which give some information. These are provided on a best of my knowledge and/or memory basis and finding the source may not be easy, please don't go emailing me, can i have xxx image requests, replies are most unlikely. I have aimed to keep the size of image files under control, images are therefore JPEG compressed where possible as they look better and are a lot smaller than GIF's. Most of the GIF images are to use transparency information because it looks really good. Modern browsers have no problems with JPEG, some older ones might. Hopefully the specified heights and widths will ensure the pages always look tolerable, you can live without the images.
The main page is unsurprisingly index.html. Obviously this can be referenced from off site. It would be a good idea if you can keep links from other sites to the main section pages please. This will make it a lot easier for folks arriving here from elsewhere. I will try and repeat the contact emails on pages which are suitable for external links or make a note somewhere to that effect. I will try and ensure the updates section below indicates if anything important has been moved but don't rely on it though i hope it won't happen. Finally i might decide to put the occasional large image on the site, do not rely on them staying here long if they get a lot of hits, simple they won't!

The amount of stuff on the shadowrun pages has expanded slowly, currently i have 16 characters up, most of them with statistics.
The house rules how has most of the stuff that i have done except for the two most advanced items, both of which really are a bit limited in usefulness in a sensible game.
The biggestest job required here is updating everything to third edition Shadowrun, it will get done, when is another story.
The Ars Magica stuff has been updated a little over time, far more needs done to keep it up to date but the GM has enough to do keeping the paper copies he uses for games up to date.
There is at least a little campain data there now.
The real world section has been slightly tidied up.
I am also going to go about and update some of the overview pages.
As anticipated i have been far too busy doing far too many things to update half of the stuff i want to but things are happening, i did get around to changing this page!

The Shadowrun section of the site has been linked to the Shadowrun webring.
Conversion of the characters to SR3 has started but is going slowly.
Conversion completed : 20th December 1998
The Shadowrun section of the site has now exclusively SR3 character statistics, at last!.
Work now starts on new sections of the site to join the Milleniums end section added on the 22nd November.
Railways section added 17th January 1999
A new section of the pages devoted to my interest in railways.
Intended to be a selection of photographs from visits to a number of railways, mostly to include a selection from each of a small number of railways rather than a jumbled sample from amongst all the various ralways i have visited over the years.
Milleniums End section upgraded to ISG format 5th February 2000
This section has been converted to the format of the ISG group web pages.
More characters have also been posted as part of the upgrade.

ISP move, August 2006. My Demon ASDL decided it really hated long telephone lines mixed with 30 degree temperatures and turned up its toes. So everything has moved to NTL. The site is therefore getting a full workover and rebuild, broken links are going to be a feature of life for some time i'n affraid folks. Some obsolete stuff will be removed. Some material that was awaiting upload will now be able to go up. A bonus here is that my web space has almost trippled though i really doubt i will use it all.
Basic site now restored, all links work, 19th August 2006.
A huge amount of pages still need to be reloaded, but the index page to every section now exists and all non working links have been disabled for now.
The Milleniums End pages have been changed to match the cstanard site format as the ISG is as good as gone, i have heard nothing of it in several years.
