The Lost : A generic term for undead creatures. There are many types but those you are most likely to need to know something of as as follows:

Those relatively commonly encountered:

• Zombie:
  More correctly ‘Carrion Harvest’.
  The shambling zombie like remains of those who have died and fallen to the Evil. Often incorrectly called "the Lost" as they are the most common form of undead encountered. Usually slow but uncaring for their own existence and relentless.
  
  
• Ghoul:
  Not quite alive, not quite dead, the ghoul hangs at the threshold of life due to its insane and disgusting diet of human corpses. Weak but quick and they paralyse people. Ghouls are fairly common.
  
  
• Revenant:
  These are the bodies of warriors although dead their speed is not decreased, neither is their skill with arms. Very tough and often wearing mail in addition to that.
  
  

Some others you may hear mention of:

• Druagr:
  The cursed dead, flesh swollen and bruised in death, the Druagr haunt wrecked long ships and burial mounds, terrifyingly strong.
  
  
• Ghost:
  Ghosts are spirits who manifest to share their woes with the living. They are driven by a desire for eternal rest.
  
  
• Nachtjager:
  The "Algandy vampire", white haired, thrives on cold. Believed to be created from those who freeze to death in the harsh Algandy winter.
