Our venue for Thursday singarounds is the  Half Moon Pub in

Pool in Wharfedale, back where it all started eleven years ago.

Following the demise of the White Swan Folk Club at Yeadon

Andrew Ingle tried to re- establish the club in Pool, but after a

 short while the club closed again.

 The landlord then approached Anne and Mark

with a view to establishing the club once more.

Now in our eleventh year and with the

addition of our monthly Saturday Concerts at Pannal,

MILLFOLK looks set to keep on providing a base for local

artists to perform in the Pool area.

There is live music each sunday at the half moon also with a

Bluegrass / country session on the second sunday each month

 and featured artists on other Sundays

 Thursday singarounds  provide an evening of varied

music from across the traditions and a warm welcome is

 assured from Jim and Vicky the landlord and landlady

 The Half Moon Pub is situated at the

bottom of Pool Bank on the

 Bradford / Harrogate Road just past the Shell garage

 on the left side of the road if heading for Bradford
