| Hi and welcome to Skips' Travels.
I had a great time at the Fire and Ice Camp at Tolmers. I went climbing, had a shot at quad biking, archery and shooting air rifles. I had a little sing song with my troop before they parted company with me at South Mimms Service station. Well I am now stuck in a box at South Mimms Services awaiting the next leg of my journey. Log Date: 15/1/2007 Well, that didn't take long. I was just sat there in the cache box minding my own business when suddenly I saw the light (no it was not a religious experience, somebody opened the box). A nice man looked in took me out and said they called him Pink Paisley. We had a small chat but he had to put me back into the box as he was only visiting small caches today and unfortunately I'm on the large size. Never mind I got a bit of fresh air and a nice chat. Log Date: 20/1/2007 Whoo hoo, the first leg of my journey. Some nice people from Yeovil, Somerset picked me up today and we traveled south from South Mimms to their home. Hee Hee I could have popped in to see you all this Monday as I passed down the A303 but I figured you would not be parading on a Monday night anyway. Whilst in Yeovil I might take in a football match or just laze around for a while. Log Date: 2/3/2007 Well those nice people in Yeovil dropped me off in a cache near Bath today. We exchanged our tearful goodbyes as they were nice and treated my well, but I must travel as is my want. Log Date: 2/3/2007 Phew not long inside here then. Just as I
get to sleep the box opens and whoosh I'm off again. Another nice bunch of
chaps whisk me off to their home. There is talk of me visiting a couple of
Scout Troops before they pass me on but who knows. There is also a rumor
that I might be off to the good old U S of A, what do you think of that
Crimp? You might see me getting on a plane when your at Heathrow working
