St Leonards

It was a very good sleep over and we all had fun especially the apple bobbing and putting your face in flour to get the white chocolate buttons.

Also the sticky doughnut eating competition, which Calvin won.  Ledger and Zephyr had been down during the day and decorated the hall, with lots of different decorations, some of them were voice activated which made it scary.  (one of them stood in the corner and looked like Calvin) We all had tombstones with taped out graves so we knew where we were sleeping.  There was a trick or treat game,  which was a lot of fun. We also had a large paper ghost filled with sweets which we had to hit whilst blindfolded.  We all had a go, Daniel made a small hole in it and David knocked all the sweets out.  We had hot dogs for supper with hot chocolate, it was lovely. We also had a fancy dress competition that was judged by the District Commissioner, (DC)

We all had a great time and lights out was at about 11, where of course we all went straight to sleep!

Zephyr said that he was still awake at 3, but we think he was afraid of the dark!

The next day we were woken by the DC at some unearthly time, and the girls cooked breakfast while the boys built the fire.  Afterwards the boys did the dishes.

We were going on a hike but there was a shoot going on outside on the plain. So we played games under the supervision of our Senior, had a packed lunch and then tidied up ready for our parents to arrive.

Thank you to all the people who helped, and Zephyr and Ledger for staying overnight.
