The international birdman contest takes place each summer in Bognor Regis. Lots of silly people jump off a pier into the cold sea! There is a web site at www.birdman.org.uk.
One day over a beer or two, some Abbot members suggested entering. To get a feel of the thing, the club rode down to the 2001 event to try and pick up some clues!
