.: History - Changing of the guard pt I :.

.: Legend :.

The band continued to gig and gain fans, however in March, guitarist Jim lost interest and it was decided to part company.

Having been in the band for almost four years, finding a replacement was a tall order indeed. The band had also entered into the Emergenza unsigned Festival 2005, and had made it to the regional semi-final, but a three-piece was not an option, the band needed a solution and fast.

The solution would be in the form of good friend and Slipstream frontman Niall Russell, who is better known as Legend to the band. Talk about a saviour, Legend learned the songs and was to be a part of the band who made it to the Scottish final of the Emergenza event.

Legend was also on hand for Titanium '05, a charity gig which raised almost £1,000 for Childline Scotland. Legends time with the band came and went, but bore witness to two of the best gigs the band had ever played, as a member of Syth.

With the departure of Legend, a full-time replacement would be need to fill the now even bigger shoes left by Jim and now Niall.

In early May 2005, the former axman of Dionysus, Staresy, would be the man to make Syth a four piece once again.
