18.01.10  "Peterborough Football Association Cup Finals dates changes"   

Following a review of ground availability The Peterborough Football Association (PFA)have found it necessary to change the dates of some of the nine cup finals due to be played in April and May 2010. With the introduction of the floodlights at Chestnut Avenue, no fewer than five finals have been changed. These include the Challenge, Junior and Minor Cups. Additionally both the Sunday Junior and Sunday PM finals have both been moved to a Wednesday, again with a 7.30pm. The PFA management committee felt that during the past seasons there has been atleast three replays that had to take place as a result of bad light stopping play. The moving of these finals would eliminate these problems in the future.The revised dates of the affected finals are as follows in date order. a full list of all of the finals can be found by clicking the link to your left.
