Restoration
The Triumph Spitfire is a classic sports car that can be restored and maintained on a budget with most parts still available at sensible prices. The photographs used below are of my car during its restoration.

This
shows the entire sill section removed. All major work carried out on the body
must be completed before it is removed from the chassis. Note the bar keeping
the door gap from closing up.
This
shows the whole floor pan removed and inner sill fixed in place.
This
shows both rear wings and the whole rear end removed. Measurements were taken
prior to removing the old panels. New flanges had to be welded in place and
these were trimmed once new panels had been welded in.

This
shows the rear end with all the new panels in place. The boot floor is not
the original shape because at the time of restoration a re-manufactured panel
was not available
