About the Artist

Liz Minichiello is an award-winning artist and illustrator. From her studio in the English East Midlands, she sells paintings, drawings, and illustrations to a wide range of British, European, and international clients.

Her portfolio includes children's books (written and illustrated), advertising work, museum display boards, calendars, guide books, language and educational books. editorial commissions regularly come from both UK and American magazines.

Liz's pictures always tell a story. Singly or in series, her colourful and humorous illustrations have lifted many a magazine or newspaper article form the mundane to the extraordinary.

There's plenty more to Liz than this brief description. Email her now for more information or to talk about possible commissions. Liz has a well-earned reputation for quick turnaround and prompt delivery worldwide (electronically or in hard copy). CD copies available on request.

Experience

Liz works mainly in gouache, acrylic and ink, and uses both pen and brush. Her light-hearted style of illustration works just as well in black and white as in colour.

Liz has been working and exhibiting since 1986. In 2000, she was awarded the British Association of Illustrators Images prize. In the same year, she received UK National Lottery sponsorship for a visual documentation of local community. The project is generating commissions for public art and residencies.
