Loss of green bags, green/blue boxes and lids

 

If you LOSE a bag, box or box lid  (either marked with your house number or unmarked), let Marilyn know, indicating:

 

- whether the item was marked with your address

 

- HOW it was marked (this is helpful, if part of the marked address has worn off and your house number is no longer readable)

 

-  If it's a BAG, whether it's one of the darker green ones or one of the slightly smaller, more yellow-green ones

 

 

Also, if you FIND a bag, box or lid and cannot identify its owner, please let me know, giving the above details.   

 

Some containers / lids are still being put out unmarked, which makes it difficult to reunite them with their owners, if they go astray.  

 

Ideally, you should PAINT a LARGE number on each wheelie / bag / box and lid to ensure you get your own back.

 

If you haven't got a convenient fence post for the Team to hang your green bag on after it has been emptied, you could ram something like a broom pole into the ground near your house entrance for them to use and prevent it being blown away.
